DevOps Application Security
DevOps helps us to continuously deliver our applications. It generally involves:
- Scripted provisioning of servers and network infrastructure
- Scripted deployment
- Automated testing
- Feedback loops
There are a number of awesome things we can and should do related to security and DevOps:
- Protect credentials for all of the provisioning scripts
- Automate security tool integration for early feedback
- Leverage feedback loops to identify anomolous behavior from a security perspective
