Appfend

Appfend is a secure engineering training platform for software developers and engineering teams. Labs cover application code, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines and AI/LLM security, and run entirely in the browser with no local setup or infrastructure to maintain. Engineers train on realistic applications with the whole codebase rather than isolated snippets, finding and fixing vulnerabilities in a full IDE and reviewing pull requests on a real Git server. Review labs include code written by AI assistants. Appfend integrates with existing learning platforms via LTI and supports developer training obligations under DORA, NIS2, HIPAA and PCI DSS. Custom labs are available on request.
