The Cyber Security Defense Department of Rakuten Group, Inc. is a team of multi-national professionals that aims to protect Rakuten companies and users, ensuring the security and integrity of Rakuten Group's global internet services. With branches in multiple continents, the team is not only responsible for the cybersecurity of Rakuten Group, Inc., but also for its group companies across Asia, the Americas, and Europe, which together serve more than 70 services to about 2.1 billion users. The team also includes Rakuten-CERT (https://www.nca.gr.jp/member/rakuten-cert.html), our emergency response team established in 2007.
