Welcome

Welcome to the OWASP MEF University student chapter! We’re thrilled to welcome you to our community. MEF University is a non-profit private university located in Istanbul, founded by the İbrahim Arıkan Education and Scientific Research Foundation in 2014. It is the first university in the world to adopt the “flipped classroom” educational model university-wide.

Here at OWASP MEF University, we’re dedicated to fostering a dynamic environment for all things related to Cyber Security. We host a variety of events and activities, including Meetups, conferences, professional speaker series, workshops, job shadowing opportunities, campus visits, alumni interviews, and inspiring presentations. Join us in shaping the future of cybersecurity education and innovation!

Membership

The Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP) is a nonprofit foundation that works to improve the security of software. All of our projects, tools, documents, forums, and chapters are free and open to anyone interested in improving application security.

Chapters are led by local leaders in accordance with the Chapters Policy. Financial contributions should only be made online using the authorized online donation button.

• Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in our Projects, Local Chapters, Events, Online Groups, and Community Slack Channel. We especially encourage diversity in all our initiatives.
• OWASP is a fantastic place to learn about application security, to network, and even to build your reputation as an expert.
