New Orleans, LA — The OWASP Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Missie Lindsey as Director of Corporate Relations. Missie brings more than 18 years of experience in B2B marketing, corporate partnerships, and account-based engagement across technology, trade, and mission driven organizations.

Missie comes to OWASP with a strong background in corporate account management, having built and managed robust portfolios of high value, strategic partners and curated VIP engagement experiences that deepen long term relationships. She has previously been responsible for identifying, securing, and maintaining corporate partnerships at a leading SaaS technology company, converting new business opportunities into lasting alliances while ensuring existing partners remained engaged and well-supported.

Her career also spans a decade in international trade, where she engaged directly with C-suite executives and business owners, not only as a featured speaker at more than 40 industry events annually, but as a strategic relationship builder focused on recruiting top level decision makers into export programs that expanded their business presence across Asia, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. Missie’s proven ability to open doors at the executive level, forge new corporate alliances, and grow partner networks across diverse industries makes her exceptionally well positioned to drive OWASP’s corporate partner community forward.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Missie Lindsey to the OWASP Foundation as our Director of Corporate Relations. Missie brings a rare combination of B2B partnership expertise, strategic account management, and a genuine talent for building relationships that create long term value. She will be instrumental in expanding and deepening our corporate sponsor relationships, developing new partnership tiers, fundraising, revamping our donations platform, and driving the revenue pipeline that enables OWASP to continue delivering world class open-source security resources to the global community. Please join me in welcoming Missie to the team,” Andrew van der Stock, Executive Director of the OWASP Foundation.

Missie will focus her initial efforts on connecting with OWASP’s existing corporate supporters and partners, identifying new strategic alliance opportunities, and building out the infrastructure to support a growing portfolio of corporate relationships aligned with OWASP’s mission to improve software security worldwide.
