OWASP Gaurella

Welcome

OWASP Gaurella Chapter is a community-driven initiative established to promote awareness, education, and best practices in application security across Gaurella and nearby regions of Chhattisgarh. The chapter serves as a platform for students, developers, cybersecurity professionals, researchers, and technology enthusiasts to collaborate and grow together.

The chapter conducts meetups, workshops, webinars, hands-on sessions, and knowledge-sharing events focused on application security, secure coding, cloud security, DevSecOps, and emerging cybersecurity threats. OWASP Gaurella aligns itself with OWASP’s global mission to make software security visible and accessible to everyone.

Participation

The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to improving the security of software. All OWASP projects, tools, documentation, forums, and local chapters are free and open to anyone interested in application security.

OWASP chapters are led by local chapter leaders in accordance with the OWASP Chapter Policy. Any financial contributions to OWASP must be made only through the official OWASP online donation channels.

If you are interested in speaking at an OWASP Gaurella Chapter event, please reach out to the chapter leadership with details of your OWASP project, independent research, case study, or any relevant application security topic you would like to present.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the broader OWASP community through:

We strongly encourage diversity and inclusion in all OWASP initiatives. OWASP Gaurella provides an excellent opportunity to learn application security, network with security professionals, contribute to open-source security projects, and build a strong security mindset within the local tech ecosystem. We also encourage you to become an OWASP member or consider making a donation to support OWASP’s global mission.
